Holistic Psychotherapy

Mindfulness-based and compassion-focused psychotherapy for adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, trauma, eating disorders, and general stress. I take a holistic approach to psychotherapy that addresses the mental, emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual components of your challenges to help you move towards sustainable solutions for inner peace and fulfillment.

I offer in-person psychotherapy for adult women (18+) out of West End Women's Health in Bloor West, Toronto.

I also offer low-cost virtual psychotherapy for all adults (18+).

Compassion-focused

I take a strengths-based approach to counselling, which means that I meet you exactly where you are on your healing journey. I highlight your strengths and inner resources, while identifying your core challenges. We work together to set your therapy goals and explore ways we can get you there.

Talk therapy

One of the most underrated and helpful parts of therapy is the safe, neutral space it can provide us with to express our feelings. It's a place to process your experiences without fear of judgment. There is power in speaking our truth and in being emotionally supported in the process. This is where Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can come in.

Mindfulness-based

We can't change anything in our lives if we're not aware of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I integrate mindfulness concepts and exercises throughout my sessions to help clients strengthen their mind-body connection, learn helpful coping skills, and emotional regulation techniques.

Somatic exploration

Somatic practices bring us into our bodies where our feelings exist. We've all been told, "feel your feelings," but we don't often know how to do that. Somatic and body-based exercises (e.g., breathwork, swaying, stomping) can help us get in touch with our emotions and process them in an embodied way. We know the body keeps the score, and this is one way to settle it.
